The Award Winning Habit

Undoubtedly his biggest achievements so far have been the awards he has won for his Arbroath Smokies. Through nominations from his customers, Iain found himself in the finals of two very high profile awards. He was crowned Scottish Champion in the UKTV ‘Food Local Food Heroes’ Award 2006, before going on to the UK Grand Final where he achieved a position of 3rd in Britain. Shortly after this, he won the highly prestigious BBC Radio ‘Food Producer of the Year’ Award 2006. He has won other awards since then, and made the finals of several others.
